Master blaster took his much awaited oath as an MP that was delayed due to IPL session which ended on May 27.
New Delhi: Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar took oath as a member of Rajya Sabha today. He took oath as member of Parliament to which he was nominated on April 26.
The 39-year-old Cricket legend was accompanied by his wife Anjali to take oath in the chamber of Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari. Sachin recently created history by scoring 100 international centuries in March this year. And almost holds all the batting records in the Test and ODI cricket.
When media persons asked Sachin Tendulkar if he prefer cricket over Parliament, Sachin replied, “Cricket comes first”.
