Mumbai: “Today in Parliament Square London they unveiled the statue of Ben Kingsley, not Bapu”, Tushar Gandhi, the great grandson of Mahatma Gandhi posted on social networking website Facebook.  

According to Tushar Gandhi’s observation the statue bears stark resemblance with Sir Ben Kingsley, who enacted Mahatma Gandhi’s role in Richard Attenborough’s 1982 film Gandhi. “Ben Kingsley as Gandhi” Tushar responded to a comment on his post.  

Finance Minister of India Arun Jaitley unveiled a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Parliament Square today. The ceremony was attended by British Prime Minister David Cameron and Bollywood super star Amitabh Bachchan.
