New Delhi: Former BJP Chief Rajnath Singh will again become the party president. The sudden twist has forced out the BJP chief Nitin Gadkari from getting his second term. Gadkari is facing charges of dubious funding of his company.
In a late night development the BJP leaders agreed on the name of Rajnath Singh. Gadkari said that he don’t want that corruption charges against him should affect the interests of BJP and issued a declaration of opting out of the BJP presidential elections scheduled on Wednesday.
Rajnath singh will file his nomination papers around 11.30 AM after the BJP Parliamentary board’s meeting on Wednesday.
